Pre-Authorized Draft
Payments may be made in person, on-line or by mail. For your convenience, the City has a
drive-thru and drop-box located at the back of City Hall, and accepts Visa and MasterCard when payments and/or deposits are made in person. The City is not responsible for cash that is deposited into the drop-box.
If you have a question about your bill please call the City of Canton Water Department which can be reached at 770-704-1502, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. You may also email us at cityofcantonwater@canton-georgia.com. You may choose to visit the City of Canton Water Department at 151 Elizabeth Street, Canton, GA 30114. Please note that there is a $35.00 service fee that will be charged on all returned checks.
Transfer Service
To transfer service to a new address, you must come to the Utility Billing Department at City Hall and pay the required twenty five dollar ($25.00) transfer fee and provide picture identification.
Request for Disconnect/Termination
To request that your water be disconnected or terminated, you must call the Utility Billing Department at (770) 704-1502 or come to the Utility Billing Department at City Hall during normal business hours. Utility customers are required to complete an application, provide picture identification and pay balance on bill to disconnect/terminate an account.
Disconnection Due to Non-Payment
If your service has been disconnected due to non-
payment, you must come to the Utility Department
during normal business hours and pay a fifty dollar ($50.00) reconnection fee in addition to the amount of the past due bill to restore service. If account has been finaled out for non-payment, you will also be required to pay a new deposit and service fee to
re-establish service.

After Hours Water Emergency
In the event of an after-hours emergency or water quality issues please contact the Water Department at 770-479-2392 regarding leaks or main breaks. If this is a life threatening emergency please dial 911.

Please have your Waste Management cart and recycle
bin accessible for pick up by 6:00 a.m. on your designated collection day, all trash must be bagged and must not be placed loose in any receptacle.
